Colten's 2nd Birthday Party!

Cake! He did great blowing out the candles. did them all by himself! And he loved it!! One of the first times he had cake!

Colten really got into it...loved it! He was reaching for the candy...even though he hasn't ever had any candy :) and didn't get any of it...guess it was still a rush to be given something!

Big events for Carter October 20
This week Carter has accomplished several things: He losed his 5th tooth. He learned to ride his bike with no training wheels. (he is doing great, cannot start completely on his own yet...but close...can turn and stop by himself. Only took a few days... a few minutes each day and he got the hand of it). He brought a book home to read for us! (Max the Cat and the Bad Rat. He is very excited!) He scored 4 goals in his soccer game! What fun!
I cannot believe all these things! I tell him to stop growing up...but he quickly reminds me he cannot! We are still doing the sticker chart and it is motivating him to not throw fits and to clean up after himself. Colten even throws his trash in the garbage can now...just from watching Carter!!
Yes, he is sitting in the toy basket! He couldn't wait to show me.
Isn't he cute without any front teeth! Can't you tell we are having a great time! It's not all smiles and laughing...but it really is amazing how the good, fun moments trump the whining hard moments. I am glad I sat down and took the time to blog tonight...I needed the reminder of how insanely blessed I am. Stephen is out of town....so I am a bit more tired and ran down than normal...but oh how I love them all!
