Big events for Carter October 20

This week Carter has accomplished several things: He losed his 5th tooth. He learned to ride his bike with no training wheels. (he is doing great, cannot start completely on his own yet...but close...can turn and stop by himself.  Only took a few days... a few minutes each day and he got the hand of it).  He brought a book home to read for us! (Max the Cat and the Bad Rat. He is very excited!) He scored 4 goals in his soccer game! What fun!
I cannot believe all these things!  I tell him to stop growing up...but he quickly reminds me he cannot! We are still doing the sticker chart and it is motivating him to not throw fits and to clean up after himself.  Colten even throws his trash in the garbage can now...just from watching Carter!!

Yes, he is sitting in the toy basket!  He couldn't wait to show me.
Isn't he cute without any front teeth! Can't you tell we are having a great time! It's not all smiles and laughing...but it really is amazing how the good, fun moments trump the whining hard moments.  I am glad I sat down and took the time to blog tonight...I needed the reminder of how insanely blessed I am.  Stephen is out of town....so I am a bit more tired and ran down than normal...but oh how I love them all!

Pumpkin Patch at Mayflower

Colten's favorite part of all!

Carter really loved it all, except for the honey bees trying to get his lemonade during lunch.

Thank you Grandmama for joining us at the last minute!  So glad she was able to go with us!

This is the pumpkin Carter chose and picked it off the vine all by himself.

Colten got a bit tired so Daddy found him a place to rest.

More dress up that took forever!

Carter is singing and dancing with the pandora music.  This is one of his new favorite things to do.  He may have a bit more of Stephen in his little personality than I thought...cause he sure does like to put on a show!

Auburn vs Arkansas

Stephen and I got to go with Alex and Kerri to the Auburn game.  We had a great time visiting with such good friends that we hardly get to see anymore.  We were gone for two nights.  Thanks to Grandma for keeping the boys!  They had a great time!  It was really fun to get away from the normal routine for a bit.

More Fun

No words...just precious!  Carter dressed Colten up.  This took about 20 minutes to complete...seriously!..they were in there forever getting ready.  LOVE IT!

What's more fun than destroying Mama's kitchen?!...Maybe emptying out all the old VHS tapes in the Living Room!

We love soccer!

This season Carter has had so much fun playing soccer.  He loves having a game and he is so much more aggressive this year than in the spring.  He gets right in there and tries to get the ball.  He hustles and runs so fast.  It is a blast watching him play.  We have a great time also because the Cluck's 3 kids are on the team.  What a blessing to have such sweet friends and watch our kids have fun together.  Love that Grandpapa and Grandmama can come to every game...wonderful blessings!!
