Greg taught a sermon about disciplining your children and raising them up in the Lord's teachings. Now I am claiming these verses to keep me in check with how I discipline Carter. Diligent was my key word... It is hard...got to stay with it! Praying God's truth will keep me in His ways of guiding Carter to Jesus.
…but God disciplines us for our good, in order that we may share in his holiness.
No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful.
Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
